On this episode, Gordon shares his experiences of gratitude during his journey across the Camino.
What does gratitude mean to Gordon?
Gratitude doesn’t mean that every day was easy or that he didn’t encounter obstacles, both inner and outer.
One of the lessons he shares is that gratitude doesn’t necessarily depend on things being easy.
Gratitude is based on our perspective of the experiences, past, present, and future.
It is so easy for us to allow negativity to creep up on us and take root in our minds.
We all have a Meseta (obstacle) lying before us, from time to time. Yours may not be the prospect of a five- or six-day walk across a hot, arid plain.
Instead, it may be a particular challenge you are facing at work. It may be a relationship that is in difficulty, financial uncertainty, or any of a number of other circumstances that give you pause and make you wonder if you’re really up to the task.
On this episode, Gordon shares his perspective on gratitude both personally and professionally as it relates to wealth management.
